What bybecode is

An app for learning to code in Python and JavaScript, with lessons, challenges and a profile that climbs the ranks. It is offered by UNIDIOR.

What you can do

Use the app to learn, as many times as you like, on your own devices. The code you write in the exercises and the challenges is yours.

What you cannot

Three things are off limits:

• Copying the course content to publish or sell it yourself.
• Trying to break the app, the service, or other people’s accounts.
• Using the app for anything illegal, or to harass anyone.

The course content

The lessons, the challenges, the words and the drawings are ours or used with permission. You can learn from them and share what you learn; you cannot republish them as your own.

Subscription

There is no subscription today. When there is one, you will take it out and cancel it from the App Store or Google Play, under each store’s cancellation and refund terms, and this page will explain what it includes before anything is charged.

The app will change

Units get added, lessons get corrected, and sometimes something is removed because it was not working. If a change really affects you — your progress, for instance — the app will tell you.

Liability

The app is offered as it is. We take care that the content is correct and that nothing is lost, but we cannot guarantee that the service will be available without interruption, or that learning here will get you a job.

None of the above limits the rights Mexican law gives you as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Disputes go to the competent courts of Mexico City, unless consumer law points to another jurisdiction.
